Specialist multichannel sports retailer upgrades instore signage management with centralised software system
Direct Golf UK signageDirect Golf UK, the largest multichannel golf retailer in the UK and Europe, has upgraded its signage solution to Immediate Impact, from global information technology solutions and services company Episys, to improve its instore signage facilities.
The upgrade allows the retailer to centrally manage its instore promotions more effectively, ensuring a consistent messaging across all stores and thereby increasing the amount of time staff can spend on the shopfloor serving customers.
As well as trading through mail order and the internet, Direct Golf UK has 17 stores throughout the UK. The Episys Immediate Impact system will be implemented across all of these stores replacing the existing manual stores process.
Migrating away from manual processes
Neil Bell, managing director at Direct Golf UK, said: “The manual production process for our instore signage became more of a challenge as we expanded our business and we needed to ensure brand consistency ran across all our stores. Using Immediate Impact will enable us to achieve this. We pride ourselves on providing consistently high level of service across all of our outlets, whether our customers choose to shop in our Cambridge, Farnborough or Huddersfield stores. The look and feel of our instore signage is an important part of this experience.”
Bell added: “One of the key benefits of the Immediate Impact system, is that it is a cloud-based solution and will provide us with a much quicker and simpler set up process for new stores moving forward, of which we have three new ones scheduled to open within the next few months.”
