German retail major Metro Group is planning to sell the Turkish and Eastern European operations of its Real supermarket chain to French retailer Auchan for over €1bn.

Incentive Targeting Inc. had raised $4.4 million and signed customers including Supervalu, Big Y and Giant Eagle to its coupon marketing service for supermarkets.
