Leaf, a self-described “group of passionate and successful entrepreneurs, engineers and developers” based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, recently announced that they are launching an open platform app store called, appropriately enough, the Leaf Appstore. Leaf already offers an Android tablet that was built specifically for use as a mobile POS. The Leaf tablet can be used for any type of brick and mortar business and was designed with flexibility and utility in mind.
